I just re-installed Jaunty with the final release, and it's still not
running on startup, on both my desktop and laptop. It did occur to me
that this problem could just be on amd64. I hope to have time to work
on this via IRC tomorrow.

I've had Amarok and Rhythmbox running from the console when the
'scratch' problem I mentioned occurred, and they didn't output anything,

Long URLs only get their first line recognized. Oddly, sometimes it
works fine. If I paste a long URL into vi or the command line, the

Got it! Now I find that Synaptic Packages do not list any sqlite
manager! If Windows had been so awkward I would have changed over long
ago (but to what?)!

This problem has reappeared in Intrepid. Evolution gets stuck with
"Filtering new message(s) (0% complete)" and no more messages are
filtered - it also won't quit, but is otherwise fully functional.
It only happens occasionally, and I have all unnecessary filters
disabled, but I am running Bogofil
I've had no crashes with Rhythmbox for months, so I think this bug must
have been fixed before Hardy was released - please close it.
