Same here. I'm running Pidgin 2.5.6 on Windows Vista 64-bit SP1. It just
hangs logging in to Yahoo!. It does keep running. I can interact with
it, send messages using other protocols, etc. But it keeps saying
"Connecting...", and my Yahoo! contacts never appear.

NVidia X Server Settings tool to activate and configure my other
screens. I'm now running with three monitors, but unfortunately without
compiz (deskopt effects)

the same problem. I installed Ubuntu 9.04 and was prompted that I could
enable a proprietary driver for my NVidia card. I did, and now X11 is
broken! My system just boots to a text mode login prompt, and

I'm experiencing this problem on a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop, which has
an ATI Mobility Radeon X300 chipset. I have attached my Xorg.0.log file
(produced using the daily build live CD of 15 October). This is from a
straight boot, so with "normal" desktop effects and without proprietary

I have exactly the same problem. I have two NVidia 8800 GTX's, with one

The button texts on the main screen don't fit in the buttons. I have
attached a screenshot showing the problem.
Also, the background image doesn't cover the entire background, there is
a blue border to the right and at the bottom of the window.

This seems to be happening to a lot of people, and it's a very annoying
bug. I regularly miss newly opened windows because they are always
opened in the background, and every time there is the additional needed
step of hunting it down in the task bar and clicking on it.
And yet nothing seems to ha

For me it seems to have fixed it. At least, I can now print the document
from bug #492850, which I couldn't before, and I have libcairo2

then try to move a different window by dragging the title bar, the
maximized window is moved instead.

I'm affected by this bug too, in Ubuntu 9.10. Is any progress being made
on fixing it?
My situation is a bit different. I have *three* screens, and the pen
will move from the left third of the left screen to the middle third of

You can import one, but that fails if it's not a configuration network-
manager-openvpn knows about.

It's not quite fixed in 9.10. When I hibernate the computer, after
awakening it I get a mouse pointer on each of my three monitors. Once I
move the mouse to each monitor they clear up again.
