I confirmed the bug for Gutsy.
However, on Hardy it's working with EVINCE, KPDF, and ePDFviewer (not
KGhostView: blank pages) ON CONDITION that I install "poppler-data" as
Sebastien Bacher said.
So as an improvement for Hardy, I suggest that:

For example, I use Ubuntu 8.10, OOo 2.4.1, and I have the bug with the current
version (0.10.9) of Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly.

I can't believe Canonical distributes a new Ubuntu with such a critical
bug !
Internet access should be highly checked by Canonical employees. Imagine
the pain for new users who upgrade/install Ubuntu 9.10 and discover they
can't access internet ! And of course no way to fix it without access to

I think the title of this bug should be changed as kubuntu is not the only
browser concerned.
Apturl links is a feature very appreciated in the ubuntu-fr community, but
APTURL links should work out-of-the-box for all browsers !

While it was working normaly before, the countdown of GRUB disappeared some
days ago (I reboot everyday).
So now I have to press ENTER key to select the default GRUB entry, instead of
just waiting it is automatically selected after 10 seconds.

hello
I used "sudo pppoeconf" to get access to internet, so I added the PPA trunk and
updated NetworkManager. Now how can I cancel pppoeconf to get back my
NetworkManager active instead of pppoeconf ?

I think you should ask every LoCo team which link they think are best to
replace the 3 English ones.
For example at ubuntu-fr, we created this full-French start-page for our
localized live-CD : http://start.ubuntu-fr.org/9.10/
