FYI I have both Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly 0.10.6 and gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse 0.10.7-2. So I guess that Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly brings functionnalities that gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse doesn't bring. For example, a French user said he couldn't read .MPC files in Rythmbox any more after uninstalling Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly. Another could not read .WMA files any more...
So the solution of this bug is not to uninstall Gstreamer0.10-plugins- ugly, but to find which version(s) of Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly bring the bug. For the moment, Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly 0.10.9 (current version) is not ok (BUG) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly 0.10.6 is ok. (NO BUG). We should ask the owner of Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly to check which modifications have been brought since 0.10.6.
