This is really annoying because if app closes and minimizes to tray then
usually the only "normal" possibility to really close it is by using
it's menu ("File / Close" for example).

This (unset LANGUAGE ; export LC_ALL=C) did the trick.
I guess that you are right - this must be connected to the polish translation
package. Should we refile the bug against some other package? which?

This bug is no longer present as of first beta. I did the same test
again and it worked fine - except for some manual clean-up at the end
(should be automatic but this is not real problem - it is only some old
packages still installed).

After upgrade to feisty (just after start of the devel cycle) the
repositories (software-properties) utility stopped working. With the
following output:
$ LANGUAGE=C sudo software-properties
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/apt/__init__.p
It is still not fixed. The same messages are printed. This is a real
problem. The update-manager is a program ALL ubuntu users use (or are
supose to use) often. And it is run as one of the first programs after
installation. This bug leads to the confusing situation for any

I have submitted the report after checking that recent (2 days ago) language
pack upgrade did not fix this issue. I was just trying to be helpfull... Do not
get mad :)

I've just completed test upgrade (I will do it again at least once a few days).
It went smoothly (except for the broken update-manager due to the bug 63344).
At the end I have had to remove (in synaptic) the configs of removed packages
(not supported any more, mainly libraries).

I have similar problem - this is probably a symptom of the same bug. Each time
I log in nm-applet needs the WPA key.
I'm not asked to unlock the keyring. And I have noticed that it stored the key
in the "login" keyring. Previously it was stored
in the "default" keyring. And it does not read it b

If you change the view to the Planet view it is impossible to change it
back to standard view within the application itself - you need to use
the gconf editor to revert the change. You have to kill the application
by hand because the "Quit" hand
