Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
After upgrade to feisty (just after start of the devel cycle) the repositories (software-properties) utility stopped working. With the following output: $ LANGUAGE=C sudo software-properties /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/apt/__init__.py:17: FutureWarning: apt API not stable yet warnings.warn("apt API not stable yet", FutureWarning) Error: could not find a distribution template It does not work from synaptic either. I do not know what caused the problem. It showed itself just after first upgrade (libc and some other packages I belive, but *not* update-manager itself). ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Repositories dialog crashes (no distribution tamplate) https://launchpad.net/bugs/70580 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
