I have similar problem - this is probably a symptom of the same bug. Each time I log in nm-applet needs the WPA key. I'm not asked to unlock the keyring. And I have noticed that it stored the key in the "login" keyring. Previously it was stored in the "default" keyring. And it does not read it back. I have to enter it each time I connect (not only when I log-in).
