and mute after every reboot...er shutdown? I didn't see this before the
patch. I can set everything to max, shut down and it still comes back

It is possible to select a sound under gnome sound properties that the
system cannot play. To demonstrate, create a sound file in your home
directory. Select that file under an
ifixit.com shows the Macbook pro unibody as having a subwoofer and right
channel combination repair part. It also shows this part as having 4
wires, so the Sub is probably individually controllable. It is very
likely the candidate.

I can confirm this under hardy. The command:
/usr/bin/gnome-rdp --start-hidden
was placed in sessions. The icon does not appear upon startup. I can
manually execute the command with a successful result. No entries int
he logs as far as I can tell.

goes in the file /etc/modprobe.d/options, NOT /etc/modules. Move the

Under jaunty beta, I've noticed that if I unplug and replug the USB
keyboard, it works after the first keypress. The first key gets lost.
Works fine from that point on. This is at the jaunty login. This is on
a macbook pro 5,1 which has usbhid blacklisted and reloaded in the
/etc/modules file aft
Also seeing it. Do we need to delete our cache after applying the
patch? I'm wondering if having a caching option might be interfering
