Under jaunty beta, I've noticed that if I unplug and replug the USB keyboard, it works after the first keypress. The first key gets lost. Works fine from that point on. This is at the jaunty login. This is on a macbook pro 5,1 which has usbhid blacklisted and reloaded in the /etc/modules file after the bcm5974 module. This was to make sure usbhid loaded after bcm because it was stealing the touchpad.
