Ok, now we are getting somewhere. You said you did a fresh install. Did you add any packages? Did you install the package updates? What option did you select in the drop down box?
Also, were you able to connect three times in a row without lockups? (Different problem, just curious) I'm still having trouble, but my system could be borked from all the attempts at making it work.
