This is a problem that Linux cannot fix, but is a Windows compatibility
issue. Windows compatibility issues are done by Wine, but not within
Steam games as that is handled by Proton, which is a Wine-like

New information: Rebuilds of 1.9.17 and builds of 1.9.18 in impish
result in the same issue, meaning there is likely a build-time
