Same for me with my Linksys WMP54G v4.1 which uses the rt61pci driver.
Manually setting the rate to 54Mbit as in misiu_mp's original bug report

"aptitude install packagename=version", eg. "aptitude install xserver-

version 8.04 LTS; I can't remember which version I was upgrading from,

Ibex from beta with 2.6.27-4 The most recent update is 2.6.27-9

[intrepid] Dolpin Crash when I expand the nod
I get this problem when running rdiff-backup (which uses ssh) between
two machines both running Debian Lenny, with kernel 2.6.26-1-amd64 #1

Tested provided updated drivers, problem still exists here (Q45 chipset,
X4500, intrepid). It's worth noting the desktop does not get corrupted
with Desktop Effects turned on (in Kubuntu), but corruption still occurs
on the login page as well as when windows are brought back from
