I don't really know what would be needed to get LP to sign the keys. They
don't currently get stored on LP at all.
Currently the key is being sent over https, and the latest httplib2 does verify
the server certificate, so we're pretty sure it does come from the
sofware-center-age
I've referred to this bug in bug #851575, and I think the solution proposed
there should work for this bug.
I believe the purchase notification processor should:
- Allow the nagios checker to notice when something went wrong in a run (not
only if the processor is still running)
- Attempt to con

available-apps-for-purchase api, as USC is checking the icon_url field
and fetching icons from there.
I think the best approach is to add a feature flag to disable icon_data
