Hi Bernie, Sorry you had such a rough journey with this purchase, and thanks for taking the time to report this issue.
Looking at the logs it seems like one of your first subscriptions ended up in an intermediate state, then you were able to complete the purchase, but before you were able to download and install the application the first subscription expired and for some reason took down the completed subscription during its clean-up process. I believe we've got the right logs to be able to debug this issue. As for sorting out your access to the app, you will get that refunded soon (like in a while, today), I believe you shouldn't have further trouble with PayPal if you decide to try again. ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid ** Also affects: software-center-agent Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: software-center-agent Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: software-center-agent Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1008289 Title: "Failed to download repository information" for purchased application To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/software-center-agent/+bug/1008289/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
