Hi, I can confirm the freeze also on a BYT (Zotac Pico 320, Intel Atom
Z3735F). I first used the patched Kernel 3.19.1 (with legacy turbo fix)
and got rarely random freezes like 1 per week, but after some updates I

This bug still affects me on 14.04.1, using Kernel 3.19.0-30-generic.
I have not manually modified /lib/udev/hwdb.d/60-keyboard.hwdb, but I am
not sure it is the original.

I don't know if it is the right place to post that, but this kernel freezes GDM
(Ubuntu Gnome Wily).
Hard reboot needed.
Intel integrated GPU, FYI.
Previous kernel version *.-14.16 works without noticeable issues (for
me, as an end user).

Followup. I found my problem and corrected it. It was my USB keyboard.
My keyboard is a "Microsoft Natural Ergonomics Keyboard 4000 v1.0".

The "back" button (located center/bottom) was stuck down. I have had the

For some reason, i was unable to login at all (lightdm AND shell) with
this kernel.
With normal user, Lightdm got stuck in checking the password until i pressed
ESC.
Guest session was giving error about being unable to start the session
Shell login got stuck for a minute checking password and the
Rossco:
"...and I duplicated the bug again just now and nothing changed in any of the
other crash reports."
As I wouldn't expect a LibreOffice crash file to be there, as no
evidence exists of it crashing, my interest is if there are any crash
files in there at all (not if there are LibreOffice on
Alvin, the issue you are reporting is an upstream one. Could you please
report this problem following the instructions verbatim at
