Turns out this is actually not a bug in the pylucene package, but rather
a result of upgrading from Lucid to Precise. The default-jre-headless
package creates the /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk symlink upon a fresh
install, but not during the distro upgrade.

Hmm, well, I found the problem and also could 'fix' it:
I connected my smartphone (Sony Neo V) to the Notebook to use USB tethering. I
don't know what I did, maybe I disconnected the smartphone without deactivating
thethering. But this gave me the issue.

@HenMan: please report a bug @eclipse, they really shouldn't be using
the tooltip-color for their dropdown-menus, that's just awkward and
might cause epic fails (like in our case).
I'll see whether I can find a workaround that doesn't mean I have to
change the tooltip colors everywhere else.

After kernel update from 3.5 to 3.7 none of the 3 available drivers work on
HP Pavilion dv6000, nVidia Graphics.
Using one of the two proprietary drivers, screen resolution is set to
1024x768 and login is possible only under gnome interface.
Using open source driver
Now tryd all default and 3.7rc versions using nomodeset and they go to safe
mode and not working and on pressing yes work in safe mode it stops and not
moving
Then i tryd acpi_osi=Linux

Cannot drag picture or frame object from page to page. An issue was
found when dragging an image or frame across pages, it does not move

I don't think that this bug is in Evince itself. I've been taking a look
at the code and found that in ev_xfer_uri_simple() libdocument/ev-file-
helpers.c:419 the call to g_file_copy() passes
