This kernel CONTAINS the bug. (Wireless transfer STARTED at a rate of ~1MB/s, lasted for the first ~60MB (of 733MB file), then ~6MB/s for the next 200MB, then ~0.3MB/s for the next 100MB..+lot of pause/stopping, didn't wait for it to finish the whole file...) Again: Tried it again and it was at ~1MB/s.
Is there anything else I can do to help?
