Observed the same behavior while trying to re-install the firefox
packages.
Swapped my Cisco AIR-CB21AG-A-K9 out for a D-Link DWL-G630 and that
appears to have resolved the system response issues.
Let me know if you'd like to press forward with this as a wireless

If I hide the desktop icons, the solid color desktop background is not

My laptop has 1280 x 800 and external monitor 1680 x 1050 resolution.
I had the same problem. Doesn't occur when no external monitor in use.

This issue seems to have been addressed in Hydrogen v0.9.5 where the export
functionality has been vastly improved allowing the user to export in a number
of rates.
Note that this version of Hydrogen has not made it to the 11.04 yet.

What would you expect to happen: Install nautilus-script-audio-convert
and have it (after restarting nautilus) ready in "Scripts" in context

What happens: it is not there, instead you need to manually copy it:

Ok, so after Gabor's comment I had another look as well. I've linked a
branch that fixes the problem in the code.
However, I haven't submitted a merge proposal yet because the fix still
needs some extra bits on the packaging side, and I'm not an expert on
that.

Thanks for the suggestion, but those instructions are for 10.04. This is
primarily a Unity problem (with the Dash).
I think I have worked around the problem by deleting local .desktop
shortcuts for mail programs from ~/.local/share/applications, copied
