*not* presssing Esc)
I have experienced this for quite some time now, I even think it also
happened with previous versions of Firefox. This is very frustrating, as
there's no way to get the auto completion back without restarting the
browser.

maybe this should get investigated by the people that did that changes
and are closer involved with this part, maybe try to reduce the patch

I confirm this bug on a Dell Vostrto 1710.
With gfxmode=1440x900x32 (my native resolution) and gfxpayload=keep everything
work as expected except ttys being blank with fashing cursor.
Without tuning gfxmode/gfxpayload, ttys are functional.

On a dell xps m1530, the line input jack doesn't work on Karmic 9.10
(same problem in previous Ubuntu versions). With the command alsamixer
there is a switch between 'Line In' and 'Mic in', but in both cases,
audio is recorded from the internal microphone of the laptop.

Some more info on this issue:
The feeds get loaded when they are created but never gets updated after
that (even when manually clicking on Send/Receive). You can check with
any of the above feeds or with this one

Its enough to just change the override file, I subscribe ubuntu-archive
for this. It just needs a change from priority "extra" to "optional" (to
match the priority of grub).

Isn't this the same as bug #435352 ? Im on a MSI W100, clean Karmic alpha
install. Since last week's update, can't see USB devices (nothing on dmesg when
i plug them in), and can't suspend. There are at least 2 workarounds proposed
(no true solutions yet), that make USB ports usable. One is down
