Public bug reported: I recently upgraded to 9.10RC (KOALA) through update-manager -d. Upon re-booting, I get the following error:
The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet". This happens on every logon. Also, (may be un-related) I also see a strange boot-screen at boot that looks more like a monitor diagnostic screen than a boot splash instead of the nice boot screen that Ubuntu is supposed to come with as well as the logon screen is an ugly plain tan color with ugly, plain icons instead of the nice, gradiated dark brown color it should be. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Panel fails to load fast user switch applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/461710 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
