This is happening with the current version of GRAMPS, which is 3.1.1.
This is not yet in the Ubuntu repositories but is the current version.
Attached is apport's .crash which apport says is broken. GRAMPS is
written in Python so the segfault can't be caused directly by GRAMPS

Binary package hint: file-roller
Intrepid and Jaunty both have a very frustrating bug for Wine users -
double clicking a Windows executable causes it to open in File Roller
and generate a very cryptic "Null" error report.

OK, after talking with a few other people having this problem we managed
to figure this out. It is *not* FGLRX related, it's that somewhere along
the line a couple of days ago, automatic updates removed kdebase-
workspace-bin (and possibly some other needed files)! This happened on
both 32bit, 64bi

You should include 0.7.2-5 in the merge instead of clobbering it. Thus,
the Ubuntu upload should be called -5ubuntu1.

libav*-dev packages conflict with libav*-unstripped-52. There are two
solutions, imo:
1. fix dependencies between "libav*-dev" and "libav*-unstripped-52" somehow;
2. add new packages: "libav*-unstripped-52-dev".
Note: "libav*-dev" required when building something from sources. For

I just tried a test upgrade with a minimal environment. Here this seem to work,
after the upgrade the mentioned file:
/var/lib/python-support/python2.6/dbus/mainloop/qt.so
is there. This was from the normal intrepid version, not the backport one
though. I'm trying this next.
