Public bug reported: This is happening with the current version of GRAMPS, which is 3.1.1. This is not yet in the Ubuntu repositories but is the current version.
Attached is apport's .crash which apport says is broken. GRAMPS is written in Python so the segfault can't be caused directly by GRAMPS.
