I do not understand what you mean. What part of the process doesn't work
for you, and what concrete change do you suggest to the packaging?
Why is it not enough to use Suhosin's configuration variables to disable
certain or alll functionality? See
http://www.hardened-php.net/suhosin/configuration
This is fixed in Debian revision 5.2.6.dfsg.1-2 available from unstable
any moment now.

I confirm bug with "/usr/lib/cups/backend/cups-pdf failed" status.
I have 755 on /home/username.
I have no PDF folder, or manually created PDF with permissions 700, in both
cases I got same error.
In Ubuntu 8.04 its work without any manual tricks.

Er, I retract that analysis... while the original Oxygen doesn't have
those icons as scalable SVGs, the 16x16 versions (and only those) exist
in the icon theme. That is probably a bug, hopefully I can sort this out
for the final 4.2 release so that those will be gone from the kde-icons-
oxygen pack

The "actions/object-order-back" icon which is the first conflicting file
that breaks for me does not originally exist in the actual
kdebase/runtime part of Oxygen. kde-icons-oxygen needs to have
externally provided icons removed so they can be installed by the
packages that actually contain them.
OK.
No problem.
