One problem I see is that dbus won't configure because /var/run/dbus
doesn't exist, which makes sense if you had a power outage in between
unpacking the package and configuring it. Thats a bug anyway, but in the
meantime could you try the following to recover:

sudo mkdir /var/run/dbus
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

If you get any more errors, then please attach the contents of
/var/log/apt, so we can work out what else is broken (don't post the
files inline though).
