AFAIK it's caused by the translators also translating the "Button
label|" part...

I can not reproduce this in Intrepid (2.3.1-1). Jaunty already has

I've installed aurora engine from http://gnome-look.org and applied some
theme, what have brown colors. But the color was from my previous
clearlooks theme (blue). Restarts of X server and reboots was helpless.
But i've found, what commenting some line in ~/.gtkrc-2.0 helps. T

Wowbagger, can you post the output of "lpstat -p", once before turning
on the printers and once after? Can you also post the output of "lpstat
-v"? Can you post the logging which goes into /var/log/syslog when
turning on the printers?
