after 2 days running evolution with no restart or actuin (over the
weekend), e-d-s is eating 3G of memory now. It did run under valgrind,
but valgrind itself crached when e-d-s terminated, so no traces :-(

server that uses NFS lightly, it has just broken now after an upgrade to
intrepid.
I have 6 client machines to a FreeBSD NFS server running NFS v3 over

new feature, or at least a change in behaviour. That's really something
that needs to be addressed upstream by the KDEPIM developers. It may be
that it behaves that way for a good reason and that's a decision for KDE

I experience the same problem too and I use the same nvidia driver as
Harland.
I do not know whether this is specific to the driver or compiz in
general.

Alexander Sack, I tried to remove each parameter and check what
happens. I saw that complete line with hwcrypto on this page earlier and
just copypaste it. However, without hwcrypto wifi works as well, but
when I removed debug option - device became unmanaged again :-\
so now my working config is

I think that this has to do with the video driver. The new graph uses cairo (?)
and this must be rendered. This has to do the graphic card, but it the driver
does not support this, the CPU must do this, which results in a very heavy CPU
usage.
That a new nvidia driver could fix this problem show
