Well, since I opened this bug report, I'd like that add that the latest
release of the e1000e driver (currently 0.4.1.7) again breaks the
support for my network card. The older version 0.2.9.5 works like a
charm however. This makes it quite hard to really fix this problem in
whatever release of Ubu
Not sure about Intrepid, but g15.so is still missing from the Hardy
64bit packages (and I believe the 32bit ones as well).
As I mentioned I think the issue is that the maintainer did not have the
libg15 dev packages installed when they built lcdproc. This being the

I encountered the same problem, correct root partition is not properly
detected: there's "root (hd0,6)" instead of "root (hd0,4)" (there's also
a problem of uuids, but I will fill a bug report for this /or find
already existing one/). "6" comes from, probably, Linux way of numbering

I don't agree with you, because for a great user experience sound should
"just work". Newbies will be scared.

Current eBox packages in Intrepid, both base framework and modules,

been a few changes in Intrepid that make necessary to upload a new

since recent updates to intrepid my monitors will not go to sleep any
more. this has started occurring in the last week. not sure which
package update has caused it though.
I am using nvidia drivers with twinview setup, I have tried both the
current versions of the 173 and 17
After my G-Earth crash the program did not show the planet anymore. I
tried to reinstall G-E, but now the whole program fails to start. I will
remove it and install the older version 4.2. But because of this I was
not able to reproduce the crash.
I added my recent Xorg.0.log.old. I don't know if i
same, if i leave the computer and come back to chat it will usually fade to
grey and will occasionally come back to life. Allows me to force quit but no
prompt for bug report pops up.
