Yeah, that's a known issue.  I've never noticed any instability with it,
but others have.  That's why Intrepid is doing it differently.  An
alternative is to use one of the open source Flashes.  I switched to
swfdec, but only do that on Hardy if you're using 32bit.  It's good
enough for YouTube, but some sites that are done totally in Flash might
be buggy.
