I can confirm that package "mythtv" depends on "ttf-liberation" in the

The same happens to me when I run both, Firefox and Amarok. I can only
hear sound in whichever one of the two I start listening to a sound
first.
So if I start a video in Youtube I will be able to hear it. But then I
can't hear anything in Amarok. So I have to restart both and play music
in Amarok

updated some extension and it stopped occurring.

i see the exact same problem, and i noticed that it seems to happen most
often when i have a web page open in firefox that has some sort of flash
video. i found that if i close totem and firefox, then restart totem to
watch the video, the problem often goes away without a reboot.

Indeed, this crash is because you entered an empty device name. As of
Ubuntu 7.10, the installer has a checkbox to allow you to disable GRUB
installation; at least as of Ubuntu 8.04, it will prevent you from
entering the empty string like this.

This is a duplicate of 2 other bugs, and the upstream Debian bug tracker
has a patch attached which fixes a confirmed double-free memory
allocation error.
I'm not sure of how the procedures here are supposed
I just found out that search (from page) functionality (from menu or by
pressing Ctrl+F) is also broken.
