Within Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron version, I have found that when playing
music in Rhythmbox I cannot play any other form of audio from Firefox or
any other programme that uses audio. So long as that sole programme is
being used for sound no other application can play audio.

I've got the same issue after a fresh upgrade to Hardy. I've tried to
produce a valgrind log with the symbols you need, please let me know if
it helps. It's from Rhythmbox, trying to do "Add folder" triggers the

The package libaqofxconnect4 within Debian will not get a "Conflicts:
libaqbanking-ofx0". Hence I added a "Conflicts: libaqofxconnect4" to the

time spent using anything that might bump my cpu cycles up. I have
turned off my Wlan, seems to contribute to around 4C in heat, Xorg

distribution on the laptop (Fedora 9) to see if I could get a different
behavior. No such luck, of course - being a kernel problem, the
software is pretty much the same. But I did notice that I could get the

1. Set a variable with content "2008-xx/xx" and set it's type to TEXT
2. Show the variable - it works
3. Create page footer
4. Show variable in the footer
5. save and exit
6. open document again
7. you will notice that the variable in footer is showed as "2008" instead
"2008-xx/xx".
