This seems to fix a long-term problem I had. If I start OOo with a file
on a local hard drive, then it would pause "forever" when I tried to

I think the developers will expect more details than this. Are you using
GNOME or KDE? And is the Hebrew keyboard layout implemented in GNOME or
KDE or using Scim/Skim? On my system I use Indian language keyboard
layouts using Skim on KDE but Ctrl+W (and other shortcuts for that
matter) work proper
I had enabled hardy-proposed and upgraded libldap-2.4-2 and tested for
bug #215904. At the time I tested it really seemed to help reduce
crashing, but still crashed from time to time. After the update it
crashed much less often, maybe 2 times per day rather than once every 30

My laptop has a i945GM chipset. I understand the hardware limit leading
to no DRI with width or height > 2048, but I still don't understand why
things got worse when I upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04 from 7.10. What
magic do I have to put in xorg.conf to get, e.g., firefox scrolling to

This is really a bug. If there is special character in the ESSID, the
network will not be displayed in the network manager. In my case, it's
the character "é" that is not recognized. I have tried the fix proposed
by 刘其帅 and it seems to work (adding exporting LANG at the beginning of

For demonstration purposes attached are the different graphical views. After
calling network and given the password the button to unlock is greyed out, in
services it is not.
Until now any update didn't resolve this difference.

My good luck went away after the next update, though it's not clear what
the update had to do with it. Unfortunately, I don't have time to dig

I'm seeing this too. I can't seem to reproduce it on demand, but
sometimes the tab will detach. I don't select "Detach Tab" from the
menu, and I do not have a keyboard shortcut defined for the action.
I'll add another comment if I can narrow down what action causes this to
happen.
