I can confirm this too. I upgraded my gutsy to hardy two days ago and
ever after the mount point is not removed upon unmounting and an

Nevermind, I got it. Did an apt-cache depends on compiz-core and
upgraded all the dependencies, then also upgraded libdecoration0 and

I don't think this is a hardy regression. It actually works (better)
in hardy than gutsy. I have no problems at all with mine, except that
I need to wait exactly a minute after it has been connected for the
device to reset, before connecting. If I connect before that point the

However, if one would change the dependency on librsvg2-bin to

This happens to me too. 8.04 Hardy Ubuntu. Amarok 1.4.9, I cannot get
Amarok to recognize or manage my iPod, even when explicitly setting the
mount point.
It also appears that Gnome is ignoring the System > P

The View, Presentation is a little bug that should be forwarded

the ubuntu team appreciate your concern, this behaviour is not
constructive though, the distribution gets hundred bugs every week and
there is a really small team working on those, there is lot of bug about
hardware not working correctly, applications crashing, etc so the work
has to be prioritized
note that we don't have keyboard hackers in the team so the fix is not
that obvious, I talked with the upstream maintainer who also works on
xkeyboard-config and he said that the issue is an xorg server one which
changed the way keyboard indicators are working and something which
should be fixed th

I'm not all that familiar with that process (I sure hope you can
eventually automate the ISO mounting too), but I used the Microsoft
"Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel v2.0.1.1" to mount the latest daily
I guess it's now or never for the Hardy release?..

I'm removing the duplication marking because this bug has nothing to do
