I think this bug is definitely fixed (or at least half-fixed).
I think the fact that you need an additional step in order to make ndiswrapper
load automatically is a good thing. This will make users try the windows driver
first, because there could be a kernel panic or an oops due to buggy window

I found an old Aiptek camera and the Feisty alpha 3 recognized it immediately.
Camorama worked with it too. Camorama may not have a problem. It might be that
Feisty alpha 3 just doesn't recognize the old Logitech Quick cam.

stable than 1.5: It crashed on several Ubunut PCs somtimes. But it don't

I found was that whenever you ran it on something with a distro name (e.g.
edgy, feisty) was not found in the ubuntu meta-release file on the changelogs
site, it defaulted to warty. Then, when it tried to use the release notes
file that the meta-release file pointed to for warty, it ended
I agree here. gnome-media now provides a mp3 pipeline to extract audio
CD in MP3 format. This pipeline is only visible if appropriate packages
are installed. gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg provides everything needed for that
common task.
