I reinstalled the original libxvidcore of ubuntu-sources and avidemux crash

Thanks for the bug report. This sounds similar to bug 64841, which has
been fixed in Edgy with a Stable Release Update. Is this still a
problem for you on Edgy? What version of wlassistant causes this bug?

I just tried this out on Edgy (gaim 2.0.0beta3.1) and, when making the
"input box" larger than the default size, gaim seems to remember the
dimensions after I close a chat window. If I resize the input box to be
smaller than the default size, gaim seems to *not remember* the size,
