pastebin.com has been, for months, at a level of sub-standard service
and basically non-functioning.
As noted above, paste.ubuntu-nl.org is a working substitute. Personally,
I patched my version of webboard to use pastebin.ca as its currently the
highest rated server on Google for "pastebin" that
backports not necessarily via the backports repo, but the package
rebuilt and uploaded to dapper-updates. As for commercial users (I doubt
they are any for xubuntu, and if so they can enable the backports repo
themselves).

Sorry, for the spam, just a small errata: changing the mldonkey user
shell from /bin/false to /bin/sh is not needed after all, so nevermind
that. It was only useful temporarily in order to debug what was
wrong...

the BETA of the nvidia drivers, so compiz no longer moans when it starts

However it now coredumps immediataly when I do;
compiz --replace --use-cow gconf

install fglrx.
All seems to be ok, but glxgears and other 3d aplication show me only blank
(black) screen (window).
