I confirm this bug. After upgrading from Dapper to Edgy I lost all of
the keyboard models.
Maybe the following is another related bug but I'm including it here
just in case:
I'm using a Logitech Access keyboard which was properly working in
Debian Sarge when the keyboard model was chosen in "keyb
exactly, I was very surprised by the answer :(

I have seen this bug on two laptops. On at least one of them (a ThinkPad
T60 with an Intel GMA950), I see this bug with totem-xine and gxine, but
not totem-gstreamer, vlc or mplayer. Two interesting things:
