There is no way compiz can be responsible for this, it is drawing the shadows the same way on resume as it was before you suspended. Something in X or the driver changed to make the shadow corrupted. Compiz caches the shadows and just reuses the same texture for them for all windows so the texture

I installed Intrepid final today. Using fglrx + compiz, suspends fine but system is messed up upon resume.
