Hello. Still having similar issue as of 5.16.12 kernel.
It appears that it does re-render the lock screen now as opposed to
5.13.0.30.33 kernel but it appears unresponsive and the driver crashes
right afterwards.
Does anyone have a working kernel version for this issue?

this was a problem for me too, but only until i saw, that there is a specific
driver/kernel-package for my exact notebook.
Maybe someone more experienced is able to extract the fix out of the tuxedo
packages (as those are only installable on Tuxedo machines as is and may
include fixes not
Hi, using latest 5.16 kernel version fixed the problem for me. Actually it
was a problem with amdgpu so i'm not sure it is the same for your
architecture but new kernel always comes with latest drivers support. Maybe
tout could give a try ti thé Dev version of Ubuntu 22.04 to see...

closure. The resume starts at 08:36. This was presumably after I had to
hard power-cycle it because you can see the power-off. Various key-
presses and short presses on the power button just prior to 08:36
produced nothing in the log.
I have the same problem. There is no response to any key presses (no
fan, as others reported) and I have to hard restart with the power
button.

Can't tell if it's the same problem, but a recent (<1 month) update on a
Lenovo T450s running 20.10 has led me to these symptoms: closing the lid
or calling suspend leaves the machine dark and unusuable until I hold
down the power button for 10 seconds to reboot.

but still not waking from sleep corfectly.
If it is any help...one difference I have noticed between working
5.4.0-26 and later non-working versions (including lp1909005 but
