I've attached the syslog. The suspend starts at 07:39 with a lid closure. The resume starts at 08:36. This was presumably after I had to hard power-cycle it because you can see the power-off. Various key- presses and short presses on the power button just prior to 08:36 produced nothing in the log.
In fact, I had to hard reboot thee times to get the system back. It hung after picking the kernel version in grub twice. One with a black screen. The other with a Dell screen and with Ubuntu underneath and a rotating progress meter. I don't see that screen on a normal boot. ** Attachment added: "syslog" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1909005/+attachment/5520868/+files/logfile.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1909005 Title: Ubuntu does not resume (wake up) from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1909005/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
