I've done some more testing on the daily images from today and
yesterday. In one sequence I'm able to get correct keyboard throughout

I've conducted a test for some ISO's that I've got:
* Groovy from 8th Oct 2020
* 20.04.01
* 20.10
* Hirsute from 17th Jan 2021
The last three were downloaded 17th Jan.
All versions had correct keyboard layout where one could test the keyboard.
Likewise all installs had correct layout after insta
I've checked with Norwegian keyboard and settings as I originally did.
And I did not experience the problem described earlier.
I've tested both UTF-8 characters and keyboard layout.
So this appears to be solved.

coalesced. For instance, I've had Chrome and gedit merge into a single

I noticed that the onboard PCI was marked as busy in the log, and that
there was a systemwide pulseaudio daemon running. The contents of
/etc/default/pulseaudio (minus comments) is:
PULSEAUDIO_SYSTEM_START=0
DISALLOW_MODULE_LOADING=1
But somehow it seems to start pulseaudio on boot anyway.

This is in fact a bug in OpenOffice. We cannot do anything about such
behaviour in OpenOffice.

For what it is worth, I fixed my slow Pidgin by disabling the "Switch
Spell" plugin in Pidgin.

I am using gnome (ubuntu 10.10). Any KDE app I maximize and quit in this
state, when re-launched starts fullscreen (like kdesvn or kgraphviewer).
And for apps that have no "enter/leave fullscreen" its then impossible
to break out of this.
The problem does go away when disabling the "Legacy Fullscr

Same problem on Lenovo ThinkPad T61.
No response in any log on sd card insertion in internal slot.
No change in /sys/bus/usb/devices on card insert.
