Could you please try again with both 0.4 and the latest version from
Github ?

I tested just yet with the latest version from Github, and it works fine
on OpenOffice 3.2.1 on RHEL6, it also worked fine LibreOffice 3.4.5 and
LibreOffice 3.5.0 RC3:

[dag@moria unoconv]$ file tests/MyNet.png
tests/MyNet.png: PNG image data, 1587 x 2048, 8-bit/color RGB, non-interlaced
[dag@moria unoconv]$ UNO_PATH=/opt/libreoffice3.4 ./unoconv -f png 
tests/MyNet.odg 
[dag@moria unoconv]$ file tests/MyNet.png
tests/MyNet.png: PNG image data, 1587 x 2048, 8-bit/color RGB, non-interlaced
[dag@moria unoconv]$ UNO_PATH=/opt/libreoffice3.5 ./unoconv -f png 
tests/MyNet.odg 
[dag@moria unoconv]$ file tests/MyNet.png
tests/MyNet.png: PNG image data, 1587 x 2048, 8-bit/color RGB, non-interlaced

The newer versions also help in troubleshooting issues better due to
improved error logging.
