*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 42299 ***
I can confirm this on my Kubuntu Dapper -> Edgy upgrade on an MSI
MegaBook S262. I thought this was an occurence of #31312, but that was
only part of the bug.

I seem to be hitting this bug under Kubuntu 6.10, upgrading from Dapper
using a multitude of dist-upgrades.[0] However, in my case, upon the
boot just after hibernate, it seems that my swap partition could not be
read, forcing the mounting process to bypass it. A manual `swapon`

I can confirm this on my MSI MegaBook S262 running both Kubuntu Dapper
and Ubuntu Edgy. The two workarounds do just as nicely. ;-)
Setting Importance to Low for now, as I believe users may probably just
want ipw3945 working in and out of hibernation.

Setting to Medium Importance, I do think a lot of desktop users do care
about being able to view Flash on their systems without breaking dpkg

A proper fix would be to backport `sysv-rc', but I don't think that's
desirable given we have upstart, if I understand it correctly ;)

Public bug reported:
I just dist-upgraded my Dapper today, and found out that flashplugin-
nonfree didn't set itself up correctly. Turns out that it borked during
postinst, since it was invoking the `update-rc.d' tool incorrectly,
trying to use a nonexistent `multiuser' runlevel group.

Hi all! =)
I noticed that the last activity on this was way back last April. Can
anyone reproduce this bug against the latest Edgy?

Addendum: I was able to see that the bug happens on my Kubuntu setup
with bind9 and squid. Perhaps invoking postfix to run earlier, just
after configuring network interfaces, would be a better solution?

Public bug reported:
This isn't in the merges list, but the current robotour in Edgy
(3.2.1-2, which I maintain from Debian as well) fails to build due
unresolved X library dependencies. A sync to the new robotour in Debian
unstable will fix this.
