My swap space is at /dev/hda5 per /proc/swaps . The result of `file' before hibernating is:
/dev/hda5: Linux/i386 swap file (new style) 1 (4K pages) size 403624 pages After hibernating and subsequent (failing) resume, `file' now emits: /dev/hda5: Linux/i386 swap file (new style) with SWSUSP1 image I suppose that is normal. As for /proc/swaps after hibernate, it is empty (as I should expect, since swapon fails.) -- failed resume from hibernate leaves corrupted/unmounted swap partition https://launchpad.net/bugs/31312 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
