Public bug reported:
Since Kernel 3.0 I can not watch TV with my MyGica S870 USB Tuner. I use
VLC. Usually I can not see any channel. Rarely I can see a channel but
then stops working. This problem does not happen with 2.6.38 Kernel. All
this I said I tested with Kubuntu 64bits: 10.04 Lucid, 11.04
Is this report still active?
I have exactly the same problem since Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid until 11.04 Natty.
My USB dongle is a MyGica s870 using dvb_usb_dib0700 module.

I forgot to say that I have an ATI x1250 card and use the free radeon

The "ia32-libs_20090808ubuntu9+maverick~xorgedgers2_amd64.deb" package
from "xorg edgers" PPA Repository solves the problem definitively.
Be careful. Do not add the repository. Just download and install the
package.

It happens in Kubuntu too.
Kubuntu 10.10. Inkscape 0.48.0-1ubuntu1 package.
ATI x1250, radeon free drivers.
