Public bug reported: I've installed Kubuntu 13.04 beta 2 (64 bits). Approximately 7 or 10 minutes during installation my monitor enters into power saving mode. I thought something had gone wrong with the installation and i was about to restart the computer.
The monitor should not go into power saving mode during installation, because it can confuse the users.
