Thanks for your comment Pedro, but I do put the focus on the search
field. I type some other keyword and when I press the specebar, the
video restart and no blank space is added to the search field.
Note that it works fine when I try to search multiple words BEFORE I
watch any video.

Alright, I don't understand anything !
I reproduced this bug on 4 different systems : 3 ubuntu 8.10 and one
9.04, but I can't find anyone (here or on irc) who can reproduce this
bug.

with a blank space in the search string : each space bar press act as a
play/pause and don't insert a blank space in the search field.

But I have bad news, the users of the forum that pointed me the problem
told me that my patch didn't work as expected. It doesn't copy the
hidden files. As these people wanted to use this hack to copy config
files (ie hidden), this doesn't work at all.
To make it copy the right file
