This bug is not over. I too have the problem. I run 64 bit lucid. In lucid alpha 1, everything was fine. When alpha 3 came out, I did a full update. Now firefox always crashes to login when I do my first significant operation (usually it's a google search) after a fresh boot up. I have to log back
