When launched from the menu, freqtwe
/usr/bin/qjackctl is a shell script that tries first to move the
PulseAudio output over to JACK and then tries the pasuspender method. So
it shouldn't be necessary to suspend by default in the menu entry?
Running qjackctl in a shell will show which method it ends up using.

I'm having problems with eclipse downloaded directly from
www.eclipse.org
The solution was the trick setting env var GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 before
laucnhing eclipse bin.

This bugs still is present on Jaunty. The #16 fix using 'kdesudo
systemsettings' didn't resolved my problem since I have no 'GTK
Appearance' on KDE SystemSettings.

libgio-2.0.so is wrong. Maybe some new bug
due to latest kernel patch (that nasty bug on NULL pointers stuff).
Interesting part:
if open gedit with gksudo it just works witout any core dump!
$ gksudo gedit

Well, I think we should be "thanking" this "crappy" applications paradigms so
you could find in a short time this nasty "bugs/unfortunate behaviors"... And I
would not like to read on Slashdot and others, things like Linux's not
reliable, Linux loose data, uninstall Linux, and similar a
BTW, Dell sucks a lot. They only provide BIOS installed as an EXE
windows file. So, you will need to install windows to update your BIOS.
