Hi! I'm having same problem also on a Dell Optiplex 740 AMD 4400+ After about 10 min - 20 min or so, mouse freezes. Then if I try to reboot Xorg (CTRL + ALT + BACKSPACE) keyboard also freezes to then only using SSH to reboot machine.
I've posted yesterday on ubuntuforums.org on 'General forum' asking for help IN TRYING TO FIND OUT what was happening (if it was any bug I had just submitted that bug) and they simply deleted my post! This kind of problems usually can be generated by a lot of different situations: hardware problems, xorg problems, kernel problems, etc. So finding solutions to this problem usually requires a lot of knowledge in different concepts. I don't there is any reason why they did that, deleting my post. They just could posted a link like this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=3003669&postcount=32 (this _may_ help. I'm using about 30min, and no problems so far) So please, Ubuntu, start listening more your community, other wise, as I saw in other posts, I'll bbe switching to a more community oriented distro, like Fedora, even hating yum!
