This is certainly a dupe of bug 1869008. I don't know how to check the
version number. I tried 'dpkg -s ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu' but got the
message that such a package is not installed. I haven't seen any other
places listing Thunderbird as supported.

In my experience, the input source sa-IAST doesn't remain persistent, or
"sticky," between applications, and it won't automatically start in an

I upgrade by performing a fresh install.
Expected behavior: My internet connection passwords, like most of my
other settings, will be stored somewhere in /home and so will be
preserved.
